Quantum Readiness for the Financial Sector: From Fundamentals to Future Applications
A one-day Quantum Computing Workshop for the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), giving participants a practical introduction to quantum computing and its emerging relevance to the financial sector. The program covers quantum computing foundations, hands-on programming with Qiskit, quantum readiness, cybersecurity implications and quantum-safe cryptography, and concludes with a discussion of quantum computing use cases in finance—equipping BSP participants with a clearer view of what quantum computing can do today, where the technology is heading, and how financial institutions can begin preparing for the quantum era.
